Maggi Mee is a instant food. It can be prepared within a few minutes. It so easy to make that it is one of the first things kids are allowed to prepare their own. And it is much easier if you use the alternative cup version. I remembered I had some trouble preparing it as I was not tall enough. I had some help from my brother. I dint know that it can be prepare within 3/4 minutes so I left the noodles in the boiling water around 10 minutes. Of course, the noodles turned out kinda mushy. Even though, I finished the noodles :)
Nowadays, many students make Maggi Mee an essential part of their student days aboard and becomes the ideal starting point in being truly independent by being given the ability to prepare a meal on their own. sooner or later the basic skill is honed and ingredients are added in for an extra twist, flavour or not. The assorted flavours available have made everything so much more convenient , providing more opportunities to test out fledgling culinary skills.
For me, I think there is no way you can go wrong with Maggi Mee. It can be prepared in various ways to create different flavour. For instance, in Malaysia, eating Maggi Mee at different mamak stalls is very interesting as different kind of mamak stalls have their own unique way to preapre Maggi Mee.
Can you imagine... During a heavy downpour, a pitiful poor man with his clothes drenched come to your house and beg for food but you do not know how to cook. All you need to do is just prepare a steaming hot bowl of one Maggi Mee that will warm the heart and strengthen the spirit of the man as the Maggi Mee reaches across the distance and brings cherished memories to the fore of his loved ones. This will encourage him to go on in life and do his best to make his loved ones happy.
