For the past to weeks,Malaysia had been battling some of the worst floods in decades along its eastern coast which is Terengganu, Pahang and Kelantan.Like fire, rain can be both a master and a servant.Water from the mountains and from rainfall is collected into dams and reservoirs to be turned into hydroelectirc power. Then , they are supplied into industries and homes. However, if there is too much rain, the dam will be destroy.
When we think of water, we visualize floods. Floods have cause misery to riverine villages, coastal settlements and others. Water runoff on slopes have loosened and weakened structures on highland slopes which cause the buildings to collapse, landslides and deforestation. Now in Malaysia, more than a hundred thousand people have been forced to move to relief centres. Not to mention, eastern states in Malaysia are often flooded during monsoon season but heavy rain have worsened the situation.

Even the rescue workers are struggling to bring clothes, food and supplies for victims in relief centres. We had done what we could to help the victim and now what we can do is pray that the victims can go back to their normal life as soon as possible.
Let hope our prayers reach them... neko :)
